How to launch your first token
From idea to a live, tradable token in about a minute.
Launching a token on HOLYHOOD is designed to take about a minute. This guide walks through every field on the launch form, what happens on-chain when you hit launch, and what to do once your token is live.
Before you start
You need a connected wallet on Robinhood Chain and a small amount of the network’s native token to cover transaction costs. Have your idea ready: a name, a ticker (the short symbol like $FUN), and an image.
Filling in the launch form
On the launch page you set:
- Name and ticker — how your token shows up everywhere.
- Image and banner — the artwork that gives it an identity.
- Description and links — a short pitch plus optional website/socials so people can find your community.
- Optional first buy — you can buy a small amount of your own token in the same transaction to seed the market.
What happens when you launch
When you confirm, the app deploys your token’s smart contract on-chain and lists it. From that moment it has a live price chart, an order history, and a holder list — anyone can trade it.
A launch only "counts" once the on-chain transaction confirms. If you reject the wallet prompt or the transaction fails, no token is created.
After you launch
Share the token’s page with your community — the link, the chart, and the buy button are all one URL. Early momentum comes from people you bring, not from the app.
- You need a connected wallet and a little gas before you begin.
- The form is just name, ticker, art, description, and an optional first buy.
- Launching deploys a real contract; the token is only live once the transaction confirms.

Fun tokens are experimental and highly speculative. Prices can move fast in both directions and you could lose everything you put in. Nothing here is investment advice.
